Special Transportation Services
Special Transportation Services are required to transport people who, due to a physical or mental disability, are unable to use a common carrier and do not require ambulance transportation. This includes both ambulatory and non-ambulatory services. The non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) service provides transportation to covered medical services or to attend MHCP service-related appeal hearings etc
